The 11th Biological Sciences Graduate Congress, December 15-17, 2006

 

 

The 11th Biological Sciences Graduate Congress, a special international graduate meeting, is organized by the Biological Sciences PhD Program, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with the Department of Biological Sciences, the National University of Singapore (DBS-NUS) and Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya (UM), co-organized by the graduate programs in Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Marine Science, Geology, Microbiology, and Agricultural Technology, as well as, the graduate programs of Inter-department of Environmental Science and National Research Center for Environmental and Hazardous Waste Management. As all institutions aim to produce broadly trained research scientists, it is expected that the Congress will provide a better understanding and knowledge pertaining to biological sciences and enable graduates to make future advances in the field. Moreover, the congress is expected to provide an opportunity for graduate students in biological sciences and related disciplines to come together, exchange ideas, and present the latest findings of their research work. This meeting will strengthen network and cooperation among graduates from the Asian universities and others who are interested in biological sciences and technology.
